The Trust's plan for the park

We have exciting plans to build new refreshment and welfare facilities, community space and other amenities

Café at Manor Farm Park

We are exploring plans to introduce a small café at Manor Farm Park using a carefully converted shipping container. The aim is to create a simple, welcoming place where visitors can stop for refreshments while enjoying the park and its surroundings.

The café would provide hot drinks, light refreshments, and a place for people to pause, meet friends, or take a break during a walk. Using a repurposed shipping container allows the unit to be installed with minimal impact on the park while giving us flexibility to design something practical and visually sympathetic to the setting.

As a charity, our goal is not only to improve the visitor experience but also to create a small, sustainable source of income that can be reinvested back into the park and future community projects.

We are currently exploring the feasibility of the project and will continue to share updates as plans develop.

Improving Facilities at Manor Farm Park

Alongside our plans for a small café unit at Manor Farm Park, we are also exploring ways to improve the facilities available to visitors. As part of this, we are looking at converting some of the existing toilets within the building on site so that they can be made accessible for public use.

Providing reliable public toilets would make the park more welcoming and practical for families, walkers, and those attending community events. It would also support wider use of the park and help ensure visitors can spend longer enjoying the space comfortably.

These improvements form part of our wider aim as a charity to enhance the park for the whole community while making practical use of the buildings already on site.
